This is a template I designed for Zap Web Online — a web solutions company that wanted a dark, techy look. The brief was fairly open: make it look fast, modern, and a bit futuristic. Hence the name.
The layout is a fixed-width centre column on a textured metallic background. The header has the Zap Web logo on the left, a four-item navigation bar (Home, About Us, Portfolio, Contact) with blue highlight on the active tab, and a “Chat Live” button tucked into the top right of the banner. The banner itself is a glowing blue waveform against a black gradient with the tagline “Lightning Fast Web Solutions”.
Below the fold there are three service boxes — Web Design (with pricing for Basic and Business packages), Search Engine Optimization, and Web Hosting — each with a call-to-action button. Under that, three columns with headers and placeholder text, each paired with a little robot illustration. A “Featured Work” section runs across the bottom with a row of thumbnail screenshots, and the footer is just a thin strip with the copyright.
The colour scheme is black and dark grey with electric blue (#00aaff ish) as the accent. There’s a fair bit of glow and gradient going on — very 2010, I know. The background texture is a repeating hex pattern that gives it that industrial feel.
It was built as a PSD for Joomla, but the structure is straightforward enough to adapt. Layers are grouped by section. Download below.
